The "Yellow-Blue Wings" International Charitable Foundation was established in 2014 after the Russian military invasion of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Active volunteers and caring citizens united to help children and families affected by military aggression.

This same year, with the help of foreign donors and organizations, the Foundation's team began active activities in the field of protecting the rights of children and youth in Ukraine. The main and permanent partner since the foundation of the organization is the Children's Fund of Germany ChildFund Deutschland. Together, we implement regional and national projects that affect the improvement of the development of the growing generation.

By 2020, within the framework of the Fund's project activities, the following were created and organized:
- a powerful interschool network,
- inpatient centers of social and psychological assistance for children and youth "Generation UA";
- educational thematic studios,
- inclusive career orientation club;
- preschool creative hubs,
- "Caravan of Friendship" rehabilitation trips.

During this time, the Fund actively involved representatives of state institutions, public organizations, temporarily displaced persons, volunteers, public activists, and representatives of business structures.

Care for the health of children and youth became a special focus of the Foundation's work. Thus, since 2018, the Foundation's team began to promote projects on safe and healthy nutrition for children, which later grew into a regional network for the comprehensive modernization of school canteens and the introduction of a system of safe nutrition in children's institutions. As a result, we modernized 3 canteens in children's institutions.

During the 9 years of the Fund's activity, strong cooperation and synergy with local and state structures was built through the participation of local self-government bodies and involved investments. Projects were supported by co-financing from local sources.

In 2021, the organization's projects were scaled up and evaluated by the Ministries.

Since the beginning of our existence, we have put a lot of effort into cooperation and partnerships. Our donors and partners - ChildFund Deutschland, Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ), UICEF, Terre des hommes TDH - Switzerland, WeWorld-GVC, Deutsches Rotes Kreuz, Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo, Caritas International, Terre des hommes - Deutschland, Humanitarian Fund of Ukraine, Western Ukrainian Consortium for the Protection of Children.

Since 2022, we have been actively involved in humanitarian areas, providing the affected families with vital needs. We organized shelters for the evacuated population, provided humanitarian aid, food, hygiene products and medicines to children and families with children. Since the full-scale invasion, more than 5 projects have been implemented with the main goal of supporting families with children and IDP children.

The mission of Yellow-Blue Wings is to work to ensure that every child has the right to health, education and development in a safe environment. Provide children with comprehensive support - psychological help, social adaptation and opportunities for learning. To help each child develop their talent and potential through educational and creative programs.

We continue to create our story, which is filled with deep and important content - to give the children of Ukraine wings of opportunities to create their happy and safe future!
