On February 24th, 2022, the Russian Federation launched a full-scale invasion in Ukraine. Martial law is in effect in Ukraine.
As of July 16, 2022 since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, 349 children have died and 652 children have been injured.
The daily actions of the aggressor violate the rights of children enshrined in Articles 6, 16, 38 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the obligation to ensure the protection of children affected by armed conflict.
The team of the Yellow-Blue Wings Foundation continues to operate within the framework of the Rapid Response Program, which currently includes our work, in particular:
* A network of coordination headquarters has been set up to receive requests, provide vital needs and assist in the safe movement of victims. The headquarters are located in Vyshhorod, Irpin and Chernihiv, in Lysychansk (active hostilities are underway)* An efficient Transport and Logistics Network has been established among all active locations of the Fund* Provision and organization of shelters for the evacuated population is currently carried out in Rivne, Ternopil and Prykarpattia* Provision of humanitarian aid with food, hygiene products and medicines for children and families with children in such regions as Vyshhorod district, Kyiv, Pyriatyn, Irpin, Chernihiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Rivne region, Ternopil region and Lviv
